Job Description
Red Stripe is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our production team as Unskilled Factory Workers. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for motivated candidates who are eager to learn and contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided. We value dedication, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. You will be an integral part of our beverage production process, helping to maintain our high standards of quality and efficiency. This position is on-site at our facility in Half Way Tree, Kingston.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with basic production line tasks, including packing, sorting, and quality checks.
- Operate and monitor simple machinery under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Load and unload materials and products as required.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and team leaders accurately and efficiently.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets.
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to hygiene and quality control.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong work ethic and punctuality.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety (training provided).
- Reliable transportation to the Half Way Tree facility.
- Positive attitude and a team player mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (or equivalent life experience).
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Previous experience in a physical role or fast-paced environment (not required, but a plus).
