Job Description
Are you looking for an active, outdoor role where your hard work directly contributes to delicious produce? We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking Blackcurrant Pickers to join our team for the upcoming harvest season. This high-energy role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, are detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. No previous experience is required, just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Come be a part of bringing premium blackcurrants from our fields to the market!
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully pick blackcurrants by hand or using specialized tools, ensuring minimal damage to fruit and plants.
- Sort and grade picked fruit according to quality standards.
- Place harvested fruit into designated containers for transport.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in the field.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily picking targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (sun, rain, wind).
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 10 kg.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in agricultural work or fruit picking.
- Familiarity with fruit grading standards.
- Basic understanding of English for safety instructions.
