Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and reliable Hotel Porter to join our esteemed team in Windsor. This flexible part-time role is specifically designed to suit the schedule of stay-at-home parents looking to re-enter the workforce or supplement their income, offering hours that can accommodate school runs and family commitments. As a Hotel Porter, you will be the welcoming face of our hotel, ensuring guests receive prompt and courteous service, assisting with luggage, and maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of public areas. This is an on-site position vital to our guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests upon arrival and assist with luggage handling, ensuring efficient and safe transport to their rooms.
  • Escort guests to their rooms, providing information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Assist with the delivery of items to guest rooms (e.g., newspapers, extra amenities, room service trays).
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel lobby, entrance, and public areas.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages for guests and hotel staff.
  • Assist with setting up meeting rooms or special events as required.
  • Provide information about hotel services, local amenities, and directions.
  • Support the front desk team with various tasks as needed.
