Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Visual Discovery Specialist with an App & Tech focus to join our dynamic team. This remote role is crucial for enhancing the visual quality and discoverability of content across Apple’s platforms, particularly within the App Store and other technology-driven visual experiences. You will be responsible for meticulously reviewing, categorizing, and optimizing visual assets to ensure they meet our stringent quality standards and contribute to an intuitive user experience. Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and curate visual content for accuracy, relevance, and quality across various Apple platforms, with a primary focus on app listings and associated visual assets.
- Implement and maintain consistent visual guidelines and standards to ensure a cohesive and premium user experience.
- Categorize and tag visual assets effectively to improve discoverability and search relevance.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to identify areas for visual enhancement and implement solutions.
- Provide constructive feedback and insights to content creators and developers regarding visual asset quality and optimization.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscapes related to visual discovery in the app and tech space.
- Participate in A/B testing and user research initiatives related to visual presentation and user engagement.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of tools and processes for visual content management.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in visual content curation, content moderation, or a related field, preferably within the technology or app industry.
- Demonstrated strong visual discernment and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with app store ecosystems and mobile application design principles.
- Proficiency with content management systems and digital asset management tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience with image editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Sketch).
- Understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) best practices.
