Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will be a vital part of our logistics operation, responsible for a variety of warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming materials and compare information on packing slips with purchase orders to verify accuracy of shipments.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate various warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (training provided if needed).
- Prepare items for shipment, ensuring they are securely packaged and correctly addressed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity and quality goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) frequently throughout the shift.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
