Job Description
As an Aviation Parts Courier for FedEx Express in Casper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and secure delivery of critical aviation components. This fast-paced position requires a meticulous approach to handling sensitive cargo, adherence to strict safety protocols, and a strong commitment to punctuality. You will be responsible for transporting essential parts between Casper/Natrona County International Airport (CPR) and local aviation businesses, contributing directly to the operational efficiency and safety of aircraft. A clean driving record and the ability to work independently are paramount.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport aviation parts and supplies to designated locations within the Casper area, including CPR airport and local repair facilities.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining logs as required.
- Verify accuracy of parts against delivery manifests and obtain necessary signatures.
- Handle sensitive and high-value aviation components with utmost care, ensuring secure loading and unloading.
- Adhere to all local, state, federal, and company safety regulations, including hazmat procedures for aviation cargo.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and customers regarding delivery status or issues.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance and uphold FedEx Express's high standards of service.
- Navigate routes efficiently, utilizing GPS and local knowledge to meet strict deadlines.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no major infractions).
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 75 lbs.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and communication.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in courier, delivery, or logistics.

- DOT certification.
