Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Manager to join our dynamic team in Preston. In this role, you will be pivotal in leading and coaching multiple agile teams, ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects and products. You will champion agile principles and practices, foster a collaborative environment, and remove impediments to optimize team performance and value delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coach multiple agile teams, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and self-organization.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews) effectively.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communication, ensuring transparency and alignment on project status and progress.
- Identify, track, and resolve impediments and blockers that hinder team progress.
- Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to define and refine product backlogs, ensuring clarity and readiness for development.
- Monitor and report on team metrics, progress, and velocity, providing insights for optimization.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, encouraging innovation and problem-solving.
- Ensure adherence to agile methodologies and best practices across projects.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Agile Delivery Manager, Scrum Master, or similar role.
- Deep understanding and practical application of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate agile teams.
- Proficiency with agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Experience in managing complex projects with multiple dependencies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or other relevant agile certifications.
- Experience working within a consulting environment.
- Experience with scaled agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, DaD).
- Background in software development, engineering, or IT projects.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous delivery pipelines.
