Job Description
Are you a compassionate and empathetic individual with a passion for supporting others? Amwell is seeking a Virtual Peace of Mind Aide specializing in anxiety support to join our growing team. In this pivotal remote role, you will provide empathetic listening, emotional support, and guidance to individuals experiencing anxiety, helping them navigate challenging moments and connect with appropriate resources. This is not a clinical role but a vital supportive position designed to offer comfort and a calming presence. You will be an essential part of our commitment to holistic patient well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide non-judgmental, empathetic, and active listening to individuals expressing anxiety or distress.
- Offer a supportive and calming virtual presence to de-escalate moments of heightened anxiety.
- Guide individuals toward self-help resources, mindfulness techniques, and relevant Amwell services or external support networks.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
- Document interactions accurately and efficiently within our secure platform.
- Collaborate with internal teams as needed to ensure a seamless support experience.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance support skills and knowledge of anxiety management techniques.
- Adhere to all company policies and ethical guidelines regarding patient support and privacy.
