Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assist Posties (Mail Carriers) with sorting and preparing mail for delivery routes.
- Load and unload mail, parcels, and packages from vehicles.
- Organize and maintain the delivery vehicle efficiently.
- Potentially assist with mail and package delivery on designated routes, if required and qualified.
- Provide support for various operational tasks within the post office.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and postal service policies.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with colleagues and the public.
- Work primarily on weekends and during peak seasonal demand periods.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry mail sacks and packages weighing up to 70 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential for weekend and seasonal shifts.
- Valid state driver's license with a safe driving record (for potential driving duties).
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a mail handling, delivery, or logistics role.
- Familiarity with the Fullerton and surrounding Orange County area.
- Customer service experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
