Job Description
We are seeking a creative and passionate Music App Content Creator to join our remote team, specifically focusing on TikTok and Instagram Reels. This role is crucial for enhancing Spotify’s presence and engagement across key short-form video platforms. You will be responsible for developing, producing, and optimizing compelling video content that highlights Spotify features, new music releases, artist spotlights, and cultural trends, driving user engagement and app usage. If you live and breathe TikTok and Reels, have a deep understanding of music culture, and possess a knack for viral content, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy for TikTok and Instagram Reels, aligning with Spotify's marketing goals and brand guidelines.
- Ideate, script, shoot, and edit engaging short-form video content, including trends, challenges, tutorials, artist spotlights, and promotional material for new music.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest TikTok and Reels trends, sounds, and features, incorporating them creatively into Spotify content.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, social media, artist & label partnerships) to ensure content synergy and maximize reach.
- Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization and future content development.
- Manage content calendar and ensure timely delivery of high-quality assets.
- Engage with our community by responding to comments and fostering a vibrant presence on platforms.
Required Skills
- Proven experience creating engaging short-form video content for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Strong understanding of current social media trends, viral content mechanics, and platform algorithms.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush, InShot, DaVinci Resolve) on mobile and/or desktop.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Deep passion for music and familiarity with Spotify's product and features.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Film, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Experience working with a major brand or in the music industry.
- A strong portfolio or personal social media presence demonstrating successful content creation.
- Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express).
