Job Description

Are you passionate about e-commerce and helping businesses succeed online? We are seeking dedicated Online Shopify Support Specialists to join our dynamic team. This is a fully remote position, open to candidates anywhere in Canada, offering the flexibility to work from your preferred location. You will be the first point of contact for Shopify merchants, providing expert assistance with platform features, troubleshooting issues, and offering guidance to optimize their online stores. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line technical and platform support to Shopify merchants via email, chat, and phone.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Shopify store setup, product listings, payment gateways, themes, apps, and shipping.
  • Guide merchants through various Shopify features and functionalities, ensuring they can effectively manage their online businesses.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior support teams when necessary.
  • Document interactions and solutions accurately in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Stay updated on the latest Shopify features, updates, and best practices.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with common web browsers and general computer literacy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Customer service orientation with a patient and empathetic approach.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify, is a strong asset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a technical support or customer service role.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS basics for minor theme adjustments.
  • Understanding of general e-commerce principles and online business operations.
  • Experience working with CRM software.
