Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of material handling equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and pallet jacks, after receiving comprehensive training.
• Load, unload, pick, put away, consolidate, and move products within the warehouse using appropriate equipment.
• Perform daily equipment checks and minor maintenance (e.g., battery changes) to ensure operational readiness and safety.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, company policies, and OSHA regulations at all times.
• Accurately record inventory movements using scanners or warehouse management systems.
• Assist with general warehouse duties such as cleaning, organizing, and preparing shipments.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and maintain a productive workflow.
• Identify and report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality issues to supervisors.

Required Skills

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new equipment and processes.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all operational guidelines.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills for inventory tracking and record-keeping.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 50 lbs), bend, and reach for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or scanning devices.
• Prior experience operating any type of powered industrial truck (PIT).
