Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Pharmacy Packing Associate to join our team in New Port Richey, FL. This role involves light manual work, primarily focusing on the accurate and efficient packing of pharmaceutical products for shipment. You will be responsible for ensuring that all orders are correctly prepared, labeled, and ready for distribution, maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick and pack pharmaceutical products according to specific order requirements.
  • Verify product quantities, lot numbers, and expiration dates against order forms.
  • Prepare packages for shipment, including labeling, sealing, and organizing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Operate basic packing equipment as needed (e.g., tape dispensers, scales).
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding order status or issues.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy regulations.

Required Skills

  • Ability to perform light manual work, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 20 lbs regularly.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic understanding of safety procedures and willingness to follow guidelines.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Basic literacy skills (reading and writing English).
