Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Instrument Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. This role is crucial for expanding our market presence and achieving sales targets for our cutting-edge scientific instruments within the Pasco County territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing existing client relationships, and providing exceptional customer service. This position offers a competitive base salary along with a generous commission structure, rewarding your drive and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for scientific instruments within the assigned territory.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients, showcasing the features and benefits of our instrument portfolio.
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets and quotas.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our instrument product lines, applications, and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with technical support and marketing teams to provide comprehensive solutions to customer needs.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and territory analyses.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and sales meetings as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in scientific instruments, medical devices, or a related technical field.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships with diverse clients.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive for achieving sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering) or Business.
- Prior experience selling laboratory or analytical instrumentation.
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex technical products and explain them clearly to customers.
- Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g., ISO, GLP, GMP).
