This is an entry-level position designed for those with little to no prior experience, offering comprehensive hands-on training to develop the essential skills needed for a successful career in well services. You will work alongside experienced professionals, learning about equipment operation, safety protocols, and the critical processes involved in maintaining and servicing oil and gas wells. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior well service technicians and operators with the setup, operation, and maintenance of well service equipment.
- Learn and adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulations on job sites.
- Participate in pre-job and post-job safety meetings and hazard assessments.
- Handle, connect, and disconnect various tools, hoses, and pipelines under direct supervision.
- Perform general labor duties, including cleaning equipment, organizing work areas, and stocking supplies.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Conduct routine checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or defects.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and service activities as required.
- Work effectively as part of a team in various weather conditions and remote locations.
- Undergo continuous training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in well services.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Willingness to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and to be on-call.
- Strong commitment to safety and following established procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical examination.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a physically demanding role or outdoor work.
- Basic mechanical aptitude or experience with equipment operation.
- Familiarity with industrial work environments.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Willingness to obtain a Class A CDL.
