Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Home Assistant to join our team at Bupa Colchester Care Home. This ongoing, full-time role is perfect for individuals with a genuine desire to provide high-quality care and support to our residents, helping them maintain their independence and enjoy a fulfilling life. You will play a crucial role in the daily lives of our residents, assisting with personal care, mobility, meal times, and engaging in social activities. Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and hygiene.
- Support residents with mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment safely.
- Help residents at meal times, encouraging hydration and assisting with feeding as required.
- Engage residents in meaningful social and recreational activities, promoting mental and physical well-being.
- Monitor residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate care records and contribute to care planning.
- Ensure a clean, tidy, and safe environment for residents.
- Adhere to all health and safety, infection control, and company policies and procedures.
