Job Description
Join Teladoc Health as a Virtual Mindful Living Aide, dedicated to fostering presence and calm for our members. In this fully remote role, you will provide compassionate, non-clinical support and guidance to individuals seeking to integrate mindfulness and tranquility into their daily lives. You will assist members in identifying their well-being goals, share practical resources, and offer encouragement to cultivate a more balanced and centered existence. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about holistic wellness, possessing exceptional listening skills, and a natural ability to create a supportive virtual environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with members virtually to understand their personal well-being aspirations related to mindfulness and calm.
- Offer empathetic and non-judgmental support, acting as a supportive companion on their mindfulness journey.
- Share curated resources, exercises, and techniques focused on meditation, breathing, stress reduction, and mindful living practices.
- Help members integrate simple mindfulness practices into their daily routines.
- Provide consistent encouragement and accountability to foster member progress and sustained engagement.
- Document member interactions and progress accurately within our secure platform.
- Collaborate with other wellness professionals to ensure a comprehensive support system for members.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adherence to all Teladoc Health policies and ethical guidelines.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to actively listen and respond with empathy and understanding.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for tracking member interactions.
- Proficiency with virtual communication tools and platforms (e.g., video conferencing, chat).
- Self-motivated, with a strong ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Fundamental understanding of mindfulness principles and stress management techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a support, coaching, or peer mentor role, especially in wellness or mental health.
- Certification or training in mindfulness, meditation, or related well-being practices.
- Familiarity with digital health platforms or virtual care environments.
- A bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, health sciences, or a related field.
