Job Description
Are you a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and a desire to learn? McDonald’s in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a Fast Food Maintenance Aide to join our dedicated team. This entry-level role is perfect for someone looking to start a career in maintenance, as comprehensive simple repair training will be provided. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our restaurant facilities and equipment are always in excellent working order, contributing to a smooth and enjoyable experience for both our customers and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic maintenance tasks including, but not limited to, changing light bulbs, minor plumbing fixes, and simple equipment adjustments.
- Assist senior maintenance staff with more complex repair projects and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Conduct routine inspections of restaurant equipment and facilities to identify potential issues early.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, tool storage, and work sites.
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Actively participate in and complete all provided training programs for simple repairs and facility upkeep.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from restaurant management and staff.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections as required.
