Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Pinterest Technical Support – Level 1 IT Specialist to join our remote team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for users experiencing technical issues related to the Pinterest platform and associated tools. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving basic to intermediate technical problems, providing excellent customer service, and escalating more complex issues to higher-level support teams. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support for all Pinterest-related IT inquiries and issues via chat, email, and phone.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems including account access, platform functionality, integration issues, and basic software/hardware troubleshooting.
  • Document all support interactions, resolutions, and escalations accurately in the ticketing system.
  • Guide users through step-by-step solutions and provide clear, concise instructions.
  • Collaborate with L2/L3 support teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Pinterest features, updates, and best practices.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of knowledge base articles and troubleshooting guides.
  • Identify trends in technical issues and provide feedback for continuous improvement of support processes.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a technical support or help desk role.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Pinterest.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting software and web-based applications.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Experience supporting digital marketing or creative professionals.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop support tools.
