Job Description
As an Online Cloud Support Associate at Google, you will be the first line of support for our Google Cloud customers, helping them navigate technical challenges and leverage the full potential of Google Cloud products and services. You will work closely with customers, providing prompt, professional, and accurate assistance, troubleshooting issues, and escalating complex problems to specialized teams. Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional technical support to Google Cloud customers via online channels (chat, email, forums).
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Google Cloud Platform products such as Compute Engine, Storage, Networking, and IAM.
- Escalate complex or critical issues to senior support engineers or product teams, ensuring timely resolution.
- Document customer interactions, solutions, and troubleshooting steps accurately in our internal systems.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of knowledge base articles and support documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with new Google Cloud features, products, and support best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve product features, documentation, and overall customer experience.
Required Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and services (e.g., IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Familiarity with operating systems (Linux/Windows) and command-line interfaces.
- A strong desire to learn and grow in the cloud technology space.
- Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with any major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) or basic programming concepts.
- Experience in a customer-facing technical support role.
- Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Cloud Digital Leader, Associate Cloud Engineer).
