Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and organised Stockroom Assistant to join our team in Basingstoke. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the efficient management of our stockroom operations, ensuring all products are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and promptly. This position requires someone with excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced retail environment. You will play a key role in maintaining stock integrity, supporting sales floor operations, and contributing to the overall success of our branch. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and check incoming deliveries against manifests and purchase orders.
  • Organise and store stock efficiently and safely, ensuring easy retrieval.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and assist with regular stock counts and inventory checks.
  • Prepare and dispatch stock to the sales floor, ensuring timely replenishment.
  • Manage returns and defective items according to company procedures.
  • Ensure the stockroom is kept clean, tidy, and organised at all times.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Support the sales team by fulfilling stock requests quickly and accurately.
