Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Experienced Care Workers to join our team in Chelmsford. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred care to residents, assisting with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, mobility, and mealtimes.
  • Administer medication as per care plans and company policy, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Support residents with social and recreational activities, promoting engagement and mental stimulation.
  • Monitor residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to senior staff.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans and daily records.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and colleagues.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Contribute to a positive, safe, and welcoming environment for all residents.
  • Assist with light domestic duties as required, ensuring a clean and comfortable living space.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a care setting (e.g., care home, hospital, domiciliary care).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated empathy, patience, and a compassionate approach to care.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Strong observational and reporting skills.
  • Understanding of safeguarding vulnerable adults.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience with medication administration.
  • First Aid qualification.
  • Basic IT skills for record-keeping.
