Job Description
Allied Universal is seeking a dedicated and professional Part-time Site Security – Weekend Licensed Guard, Night to join our team in Rialto, CA. This crucial role involves ensuring the safety and security of our client’s premises and personnel during weekend night shifts. As a Weekend Licensed Guard, Night, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through regular patrols, monitoring surveillance systems, and promptly responding to any security incidents. We are looking for an individual with a valid California Guard Card who can work independently and effectively communicate.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol industrial or commercial premises regularly to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems, responding promptly to any alerts or suspicious activities.
- Respond to emergencies, such as medical incidents, fires, and security breaches, following established protocols.
- Write detailed, accurate, and concise incident reports of all activities and disturbances.
- Control access at entry points for employees, visitors, and vehicles, verifying credentials as required.
- Enforce company rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent violations.
- Provide assistance to employees and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
Required Skills
- Valid California Guard Card (BSIS).
- Excellent observational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and perform duties in various weather conditions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Basic computer proficiency for report writing and system monitoring.
- Proven ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military roles.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Customer service experience.
