Job Description

We are seeking a warm, experienced, and responsible Nanny for a full-time position with a loving family in Bozeman, Montana. This role involves providing comprehensive care for two school-aged children (ages 6 and 9), fostering their development, and maintaining a positive and organized home environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and possess a genuine love for working with children, capable of balancing educational support with engaging recreational activities. This is an on-site position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive and loving care to two school-aged children.
  • Plan and execute engaging educational and recreational activities, including outdoor adventures.
  • Assist with homework and school projects, fostering a love for learning.
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children.
  • Manage children's laundry and maintain tidy play areas and bedrooms.
  • Transport children to and from school, appointments, and extracurricular activities (family car provided or mileage reimbursement).
  • Implement age-appropriate discipline and behavior management strategies.
  • Maintain open and consistent communication with parents regarding children's daily activities and progress.
  • Ensure a safe and stimulating environment at all times.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional nanny or childcare experience with school-aged children.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain immediately).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Experience with positive discipline techniques.
  • Knowledge of local Bozeman activities and resources for children.
  • Ability to swim is a plus for summer activities.
