Key Responsibilities

  • Actively study for and complete all required professional certifications, fully funded by the Council.

Required Skills

  • A strong interest in public health and environmental protection.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to learn complex legislation and apply it practically.
  • Good observational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Basic IT proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in a science-related field, environmental health, or public health.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role or an environment requiring adherence to regulations.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (or ability to travel across the city).
