Job Description

Are you passionate about video games and eager to gain hands-on experience in the industry? Our Summer 2024 Internship Program offers a unique opportunity for aspiring professionals from across the country to immerse themselves in the operations of a leading interactive entertainment company. As a Gaming Industry Intern, you will work alongside experienced teams, contribute to real projects, and develop critical skills in a fast-paced, creative environment. This program is designed to provide comprehensive exposure to various facets of the gaming business, from development and publishing to marketing and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist various departments (e.g., Marketing, Production, Business Development, QA) with ongoing projects and daily tasks.
  • Conduct research and analyze market trends within the gaming industry.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to support team initiatives.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute innovative ideas.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Support administrative duties as needed to ensure smooth operations.
  • Gain exposure to the full lifecycle of game development and publishing.
  • Help organize and manage digital assets or content.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program at an accredited institution.
  • Strong passion for video games and familiarity with current industry trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Majoring in Business, Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, Game Design, or related fields.
  • Previous experience with project-based work or extracurricular activities.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
  • Basic understanding of game development pipelines or marketing strategies.
  • Portfolio showcasing relevant personal projects or creative work (optional).
