Job Description
Are you a creative individual with an eye for aesthetics and a passion for visual storytelling? Pinterest is seeking a Pin Design Assistant to join our remote team. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating engaging and high-quality visual content (Pins) that capture attention and drive discovery on the Pinterest platform. This is a flexible, 100% remote position perfect for someone looking to contribute their design skills from the comfort of their home. You will work on a variety of projects, transforming ideas into compelling visual narratives for a diverse audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and create a wide range of visually appealing Pins for various categories and campaigns.
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to understand visual requirements and campaign goals.
- Ensure all designs adhere to Pinterest's brand guidelines and best practices for optimal engagement.
- Research current design trends and Pinterest best practices to inform creative strategy.
- Manage and organize design assets, ensuring efficient workflow.
- Provide design support for various internal projects as needed.
- Incorporate feedback from team members to refine and improve designs.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express, Figma, or similar)
- Strong understanding of visual composition, color theory, and typography
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating engaging content
- Basic understanding of Pinterest as a platform
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience creating content for social media platforms, especially Pinterest
- A portfolio showcasing design capabilities and creativity
- Familiarity with digital marketing principles
- Experience with image editing and photo manipulation
