Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team as Berry Pickers for the upcoming season in Perth, Scotland. This is a temporary, on-site role perfect for those who enjoy working outdoors and are looking for a rewarding seasonal opportunity. On-site lodging is available for successful candidates, offering a convenient and comfortable stay throughout the picking season. You will be responsible for carefully hand-picking a variety of berries, ensuring they meet our high-quality standards. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick ripe berries by hand according to quality standards and picking techniques.
- Carefully handle fruit to prevent bruising and damage.
- Sort and pack berries into designated containers in the field.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines on the farm.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily picking targets.
- Communicate any issues or concerns to supervisors promptly.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Physical fitness and stamina, including ability to stand, bend, and lift.
