Job Description
As the SEO / Digital Marketing Head, you will be responsible for defining, leading, and executing our comprehensive SEO and broader digital marketing strategies. You will drive organic traffic, enhance brand visibility, and improve customer acquisition and retention across all digital channels. This hybrid role is based at our Eastbourne hub, offering a balance of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a robust global SEO strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of digital marketing, including SEM, social media, email marketing, and content strategy.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of digital marketing professionals.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and market trend identification.
- Manage technical SEO audits, recommendations, and implementation with development teams.
- Drive content strategy for SEO, ensuring high-quality, relevant, and engaging material.
- Analyze performance data, generate insights, and report on key metrics to stakeholders.
- Manage digital marketing budgets and optimize spend for maximum ROI.
- Stay abreast of industry changes, search engine algorithm updates, and emerging digital trends.
Required Skills
- Proven track record of success in SEO and digital marketing leadership roles (7+ years).
- Deep expertise in SEO best practices, algorithm updates, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page optimization, and off-page strategies.
- Demonstrable experience managing large-scale digital marketing campaigns.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Exceptional analytical abilities and data-driven decision-making.
- Fluent in English with outstanding written and verbal communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with international SEO strategies and multi-market digital campaigns.
- Familiarity with enterprise-level CMS platforms and e-commerce technologies.
- Certification in Google Ads or other relevant digital marketing platforms.
