Key Responsibilities
- Operate company-provided vans or small trucks safely and efficiently on assigned routes.
- Load and unload packages with care, ensuring accurate delivery and handling.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with dispatch.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and pickups.
- Learn and adapt to new routes and delivery procedures as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 75 lbs (with assistance for heavier items).
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Clean driving record (upon obtaining license).
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to learn and obtain necessary driving certifications.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic knowledge of local geography (Arvada and surrounding areas).
- Prior experience in a customer service role.
