Job Description
Join our team as an Apple Creative with a focus on Photography and Video Teaching. In this role, you will be an inspiring and knowledgeable guide, helping customers unlock their creative potential using Apple products. You will lead workshops, provide one-on-one coaching, and demonstrate features and techniques related to photography and video production on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. Your passion for storytelling through visuals and your ability to educate will be key to fostering a supportive learning community within the Apple Store.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging group workshops and personalized one-on-one sessions focused on photography and video skills using Apple devices and software.
- Inspire and educate customers on the creative capabilities of Apple products, from basic photo editing to advanced video production techniques.
- Provide expert advice and troubleshooting support for Apple hardware and software, particularly within the photo and video ecosystem.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Apple products, features, and third-party creative applications.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive store environment, ensuring every customer feels empowered and supported in their creative journey.
- Collaborate with team members to develop new workshop content and refine existing educational programs.
- Act as a brand ambassador, showcasing Apple's commitment to creativity and innovation.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in photography and video techniques, including composition, lighting, editing, and post-production workflows.
- Expertise in using Apple products (iPhone, iPad, Mac) and creative software (e.g., Photos, iMovie, Final Cut Pro, GarageBand).
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated passion for teaching and helping others learn new technologies and creative skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Film, Digital Media, Education, or a related field.
- Previous experience in teaching, training, or facilitating workshops for adults or youth.
- Professional portfolio showcasing photography and/or video work.
- Experience with third-party creative applications and accessories compatible with Apple products.
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
