Job Description

PwC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented State/Provincial Audit Assistant to join our Hampton office. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior auditors in performing audit procedures, including testing financial transactions, balances, and disclosures.
  • Prepare audit work papers, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to firm and professional standards.
  • Gather and analyze financial data, records, and reports to identify discrepancies or potential issues.
  • Support the team in client communication, including preparing requests for information and summarizing findings.
  • Learn and apply relevant accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development initiatives to enhance audit knowledge and skills.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
