Job Description
Join the dynamic team at Costco Wholesale as a Warehouse Utility Worker in Pasco, WA! We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to support our fast-paced warehouse operations across various shifts. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and organization of our facility, ensuring products are handled correctly and safely. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general warehouse duties including sorting, stacking, loading, unloading, and moving products.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (training provided if needed).
- Assist with inventory management, including counting, scanning, and organizing stock.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment by removing debris, sweeping floors, and consolidating products.
- Support shipping and receiving operations by preparing orders for shipment and verifying incoming goods.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar physical labor role.
- Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment (certification a plus).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
