Job Description
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Travel Itinerary Curator with a strong focus on Pinterest to join our marketing and product development team. In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, researching, and curating visually stunning and inspiring travel itineraries, primarily for our Pinterest platform. You will translate complex travel experiences into engaging visual stories, driving interest and engagement from potential travelers. This position requires a deep understanding of travel trends, destination knowledge, and expert proficiency in using Pinterest as a powerful marketing and inspirational tool.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and curate unique, engaging travel itineraries specifically tailored for visual platforms like Pinterest.
- Conduct thorough research on destinations, activities, accommodations, and local experiences to inform itinerary creation.
- Create compelling visual content (mood boards, photo collages, infographic-style itineraries) using Pinterest tools and best practices.
- Write concise, attractive descriptions and calls to action for each curated itinerary.
- Stay abreast of the latest travel trends, Pinterest features, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to align Pinterest content with broader campaign goals and product launches.
- Monitor Pinterest analytics to evaluate performance, identify trends, and optimize content strategy.
- Ensure all curated content aligns with Globus Journeys' brand guidelines and quality standards.
