Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Online Blog Formatter to join our dynamic digital content team. This entry-level position is perfect for someone eager to start a career in digital media, content management, or online publishing. You will be responsible for formatting and publishing blog posts on our WordPress platform, ensuring they meet our brand’s stylistic and quality standards. Full training will be provided on WordPress and our internal processes, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong computer skills and a desire to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Format and publish blog posts, articles, and other web content using WordPress, adhering to established style guides and best practices.
- Ensure all content is accurately tagged, categorized, and optimized for search engines (basic SEO principles will be taught).
- Upload and properly size images, videos, and other multimedia elements within blog posts.
- Perform quality assurance checks on all published content to ensure accuracy, proper formatting, and functionality.
- Collaborate closely with content writers, editors, and marketing specialists to maintain a consistent content pipeline.
- Provide basic WordPress support, troubleshooting minor issues, and escalating complex problems to the technical team.
- Assist in maintaining content calendars and scheduling posts for publication.
- Stay updated on WordPress features, best practices, and SEO trends relevant to content formatting.
