Job Description
We are seeking a highly meticulous and analytical Robotics Precision Verifier to join our advanced AI Testing team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for rigorously testing and verifying the precision, accuracy, and reliability of our next-generation robotic systems, particularly those integrated with artificial intelligence for navigation, manipulation, and decision-making. You will work closely with development engineers and AI scientists to identify anomalies, validate performance against specifications, and ensure the highest standards of operational excellence. This role demands a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of robotic mechanics, and a passion for cutting-edge AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and document comprehensive test plans and procedures for robotic systems, focusing on precision and AI-driven functionalities.
- Perform detailed verification of robotic movements, sensor data, and AI decision outputs to detect deviations, errors, and performance degradation.
- Utilize specialized testing equipment, simulation environments, and software tools to collect and analyze performance metrics.
- Collaborate closely with robotics engineers, AI researchers, and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot issues, provide detailed feedback, and support iterative development cycles.
- Develop and implement automated testing scripts and simulations to enhance efficiency, coverage, and repeatability of testing processes.
- Maintain comprehensive records of test results, bug reports, and verification processes within our quality management systems.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies, tools, and overall quality assurance standards.
- Stay current with advancements in robotics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and testing technologies to inform best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (2+ years) in testing and verification of robotic systems, automated machinery, or complex mechatronic products.
- Strong understanding of robotics principles, including kinematics, dynamics, sensor integration, and control systems.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their application in robotics (e.g., computer vision, natural language processing, path planning).
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Python with NumPy/Pandas, MATLAB).
- Experience with test plan creation, execution, and defect tracking using tools like JIRA or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and a methodical approach to complex tasks.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience with Python or similar scripting languages for test automation and data processing.
- Knowledge of industry-standard testing frameworks and methodologies (e.g., ISTQB certification).
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Familiarity with robotic operating systems (ROS) and/or simulation software for robotics (e.g., Gazebo, CoppeliaSim, V-REP).
