Job Description
Are you a 16-year-old looking for your very first job in a fun, dynamic, and stress-free environment? Foolish Things Coffee Co. is excited to welcome Barista Trainees who are eager to learn the ropes of the coffee world! This entry-level position is perfect for teens with a passion for people and a willingness to learn. No prior experience is necessary – we’ll teach you everything you need to know to become a confident and capable barista. Key Responsibilities
- Learn to prepare a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to Foolish Things' standards.
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent, friendly service.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the coffee bar, seating areas, and restrooms.
- Assist with stocking shelves and ensuring ingredients are readily available.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using our POS system.
- Support senior baristas and team members with daily cafe operations.
- Uphold health and safety standards at all times.
