Job Description
We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Remote Personalized Search Consultants. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the improvement of online search results for a global tech leader, working from the comfort of your home. You will be responsible for evaluating web content and providing feedback on the relevance and quality of search results, helping to enhance user experience. This role offers a flexible roster, allowing you to manage your own hours within project guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate a diverse range of online content including web pages, images, and videos based on established guidelines.
- Provide objective and consistent feedback on the relevance, accuracy, and quality of search engine results.
- Analyze and interpret user queries to assess the intent behind searches and the effectiveness of results.
- Adhere strictly to project guidelines and quality standards to ensure high-quality data contribution.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of search algorithms and user experience.
- Maintain confidentiality of all project-related information.
Required Skills
- Excellent understanding of UK popular culture, current affairs, and media.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal, with strong comprehension skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using web browsers and various online applications.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a suitable home working environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in search engine evaluation, data annotation, or content moderation.
- Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) principles.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
