Job Description
Are you ready to join a bustling team in the heart of Glasgow? Greggs is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Fast Food Prep Hand to support our kitchen operations from Monday to Friday. This role is crucial in ensuring our delicious products are prepared efficiently and to our high standards. If you’re reliable, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy working with food, we want to hear from you. Experience isn’t essential as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for a variety of food items, including sandwiches, bakes, and salads, following company recipes and guidelines.
- Assist with the baking and finishing of products as required.
- Maintain a clean and organised work station, adhering to strict food safety and hygiene standards.
- Support the kitchen team in daily operations, including stock rotation and basic inventory checks.
- Ensure all food preparation areas and equipment are cleaned thoroughly at the end of each shift.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth service and efficient workflow.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills and a team-player attitude.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices (training will be provided).
