Job Description
Join NielsenIQ as a Field Market Researcher and become a crucial part of our mission to understand consumer behavior across major US cities. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for directly engaging with consumers to gather valuable insights through surveys, interviews, and observation. This position requires you to be adaptable, have excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to data accuracy. You will represent NielsenIQ in the community, collecting the information that drives our clients’ strategies. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working independently, meeting new people, and contributing to significant market research projects. While the role is ‘Field’, implying on-site engagement with the public, your primary base for administrative tasks will be in a designated major US city, in this case, Portland, OR, with deployment across various local areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person surveys and interviews with consumers in designated locations.
- Accurately record and transcribe data using company-provided tools and technology.
- Follow strict guidelines and protocols to ensure data integrity and quality.
- Build rapport and engage effectively with diverse populations.
- Adhere to all ethical guidelines and data privacy regulations.
- Manage and organize personal fieldwork schedule efficiently.
- Provide regular updates and reports on fieldwork progress to team leads.
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues with data collection equipment.
- Represent NielsenIQ professionally and courteously at all times.
Required Skills
