Job Description

We are seeking an exceptionally professional and dedicated Concierge to join the team at a prestigious luxury residential development in Coventry. This pivotal role involves providing a first-class service to residents, managing front-of-house operations, and ensuring the security and smooth running of the building during 12-hour shifts. The ideal candidate will possess an impeccable demeanor, outstanding customer service skills, and a proactive approach to all tasks. You will be the first point of contact for residents and visitors, embodying the luxury and exclusivity of the development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for residents and visitors, providing a warm and professional welcome.
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing mail, parcels, and deliveries, ensuring secure handling and timely distribution.
  • Handle resident inquiries, requests, and complaints efficiently and courteously, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Oversee access control and maintain building security protocols, including monitoring CCTV and managing key systems.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and cleaning staff to ensure common areas are always immaculate and operational.
  • Assist residents with various services, including booking taxis, making restaurant reservations, and arranging dry cleaning.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of all relevant activities, incidents, and resident communications.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the building and grounds, reporting any anomalies or maintenance requirements.
  • Respond to emergencies and alarms in accordance with established procedures, liaising with emergency services when required.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a luxury hospitality or residential concierge role.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Immaculate presentation and professional demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including 12-hour shifts, days and nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license (desirable but not essential, training can be provided).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with property management software.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Knowledge of local Coventry amenities and services.
  • Experience in conflict resolution and emergency response.
