Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pinterest API Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is a technical remote role focused on leveraging the Pinterest API to build innovative solutions, automate processes, and integrate Pinterest data with other marketing platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API development, data integration, and a deep understanding of the Pinterest platform’s capabilities for advertising, content distribution, and analytics. You will be instrumental in helping our clients optimize their Pinterest strategies through robust technical implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations with the Pinterest API for various client projects.
- Develop custom tools and scripts to automate Pinterest marketing activities, data extraction, and reporting.
- Collaborate with marketing strategists, data analysts, and front-end developers to implement Pinterest-related features and solutions.
- Monitor API performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity and security.
- Stay up-to-date with Pinterest API changes, new features, and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and clients on Pinterest API capabilities.
- Document API integration processes, technical specifications, and solution architectures.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our technical standards and processes.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience working with the Pinterest API or similar social media/advertising APIs (e.g., Facebook/Instagram Graph API, Google Ads API).
- Proficiency in Python, Node.js, or a similar scripting language for API development.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, OAuth 2.0, JSON, and webhooks.
- Experience with data manipulation, ETL processes, and database integration (SQL/NoSQL).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and serverless functions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience with Pinterest Ads platform and related analytics.
- Knowledge of other marketing technology platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM systems).
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience working in an agency or consulting environment.
