Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in conversation and activities.
- Help with light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying common areas, laundry, and dishwashing.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Assist with safe client transfers and mobility.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Run errands and assist with grocery shopping.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition or concerns to the supervisory team.
- Utilize our mobile app to view available shifts, confirm schedules, and communicate with the office.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated empathy, patience, and a compassionate demeanor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to follow care plans accurately.
- Proficiency with smartphone applications for scheduling and communication.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or a related field (even personal experience with family members).
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) program.
- High school diploma or GED.
