Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Student Office Assistant to join our dynamic Real Estate & Finance team in Simi Valley. This entry-level, part-time position offers an exceptional opportunity for a student to gain hands-on experience in the commercial real estate industry, working alongside seasoned professionals. The ideal candidate will provide administrative and operational support, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the office and contributing to key financial and real estate projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to real estate brokers and finance professionals.
  • Assist with data entry, maintaining accurate records, and updating client databases.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and correspondence using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Conduct basic research on market trends, property listings, and financial data.
  • Manage office supplies, organize files, and ensure the office environment is tidy and efficient.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and handling phone inquiries.
  • Support marketing efforts by preparing property flyers and digital marketing materials.
  • Process expense reports and assist with basic accounting tasks as needed.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned to support team operations.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university program.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Proactive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field.
