Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Coding Labeler with Python and JavaScript skills to join our AI and Machine Learning team. This junior-level role is crucial for ensuring the quality and accuracy of data used to train our advanced AI models. You will work closely with data scientists and engineers, contributing directly to the development of cutting-edge AI solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring developer to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment, focusing on the foundational data that powers artificial intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately label, classify, and annotate various types of data (text, code snippets, images, etc.) using established guidelines and tools.
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot small scripts and automation tools primarily in Python and JavaScript to enhance labeling efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform quality assurance on labeled data sets to ensure high standards and consistency.
- Collaborate with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and researchers to understand project requirements and provide feedback on data quality and labeling processes.
- Document labeling guidelines, processes, and any challenges encountered.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data labeling workflows and tools.
- Identify and escalate data inconsistencies or issues that may impact model performance.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Python programming, including scripting and basic data manipulation.
- Familiarity with JavaScript for web-based tooling or scripting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Basic understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive attitude.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience with data labeling or annotation platforms/tools.
- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and terminology.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with UI/UX principles or front-end development is a plus.
