Job Description
AccentCare is urgently seeking dedicated and compassionate Caregivers to join our team in New Port Richey. Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide medication reminders as directed by care plan.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, tidying living areas, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or living conditions to the appropriate supervisor.
- Engage clients in stimulating activities and provide companionship.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and healthy environment for clients.
- Transport clients to appointments or errands as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and client care plans.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Proof of automobile insurance
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to lift and move clients as required by care plan
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, CNA, or Home Health Aide (HHA)
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience working with individuals with memory impairment or chronic conditions
