Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organized Customer Service Administrator to join our passionate team at CrossFit Camrose. In this pivotal role, you will be the welcoming face and voice of our box, ensuring our members and prospective clients receive exceptional service. You will manage daily administrative tasks, support our coaching staff, and contribute to maintaining our positive and energetic community atmosphere. Key Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting members and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Handle member inquiries, registration, membership renewals, and payment processing accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, retail space, and common areas.
- Assist with scheduling, booking appointments, and managing class registrations using our member management software.
- Respond to phone calls, emails, and social media messages promptly and professionally.
- Support coaches with administrative tasks, equipment setup/breakdown, and class preparations as needed.
- Process retail sales of apparel, supplements, and other merchandise.
- Maintain accurate member records and ensure data privacy.
- Contribute to community engagement initiatives and events.
- Address member concerns and feedback with empathy and a solution-oriented approach.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service or administrative role.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with office software (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and a passion for health, fitness, or CrossFit.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with gym management software (e.g., PushPress, Zen Planner, Mindbody).
- Previous experience working in a fitness studio, gym, or sports facility.
- Understanding of CrossFit methodology and terminology.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
