Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert, attentive, and compassionate care to newborns, typically during overnight shifts or extended daytime hours.
  • Implement and maintain consistent feeding schedules (breastfeeding support, bottle-feeding, formula preparation).
  • Establish healthy sleep routines and gentle sleep training methods appropriate for the baby's age and developmental stage.
  • Monitor infant health and development, including diaper changes, bathing, and tracking growth milestones.
  • Educate and support new parents on newborn care techniques, infant soothing methods, and postpartum adjustments.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for the newborn, including light nursery duties and bottle sterilization.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with parents, providing detailed reports on the baby's care and progress.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and agency guidelines, ensuring the well-being of the newborn at all times.
