Join Bayer as a Clean Room Warehouse Associate and become a vital part of our advanced laboratory operations in West Berkeley. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and accurately log all incoming materials, ensuring compliance with clean room standards.
  • Perform precise picking, packing, and staging of materials according to laboratory requests and shipment schedules.
  • Maintain immaculate organization and inventory control within the clean room warehouse using specialized systems.
  • Strictly adhere to all clean room protocols, gowning procedures, and aseptic techniques to prevent contamination.
  • Operate basic warehouse equipment such such as pallet jacks and hand trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Conduct routine cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of the clean room warehouse area and equipment.
  • Collaborate effectively with laboratory personnel, quality assurance, and supply chain teams.
  • Document all material movements and inventory adjustments accurately and promptly.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or environmental control issues immediately.
  • Participate in inventory audits and continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse operations.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to strictly follow written procedures and safety protocols.
  • Basic computer proficiency for inventory management systems and data entry.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team in a highly regulated environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience working in a clean room, laboratory, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience with inventory control systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or certification in a science-related field is a plus.
