Job Description

Join Thomson Reuters as a Legal Text Annotator, a remote-first opportunity perfect for law students or individuals with a strong legal background looking to contribute to the future of legal technology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our AI-powered legal research platforms by meticulously reviewing, analyzing, and annotating legal documents. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clear and concise feedback on annotation guidelines and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Participate in calibration sessions to ensure consistency in annotation standards across the team.
  • Maintain a high level of quality and productivity while adhering to project deadlines.
  • Collaborate with content and product development teams to refine annotation processes and improve data quality.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of legal terminology and concepts.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex legal texts and identify key information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from law school (JD program).
  • Previous experience in legal research, paralegal work, or legal content analysis.
